THE LEAD IDENTIFICATION
BY X-RAY: A PRESTUDY

ABSTRACT
The identification of fire-arm leads remained alive body is very important for
medico-legal applications. Therefore the selected 18 bullets for the determined diameters were visualized for identification
of types, diameters and lengths of bullets in this prestudy. Additionally two bullets had 9 mm and 11.35 mm diameter was settled
to fantom and was evaluated the correlation between image diameter and real diameter. In third group, a bullet had 8.95 mm
diameter was used by the same method and was evaluated the correlation between the radiological image of bullet remained alive
body and diameter.
