A CASE OF DEATH CAUSED BY PERITONITIS
AND JEJUNUM PERFORATION DEVELOPED ON THE BASIS OF NECROTIZING ENTERITIS DUE TO ASCARIASIS

ABSTRACT
The case is a forty-nine years old male who was admitted to hospital with complaints
of abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and sweating. The diagnosis was acute abdomen, but the patient died before any treatment
could be initiated. The cause of death was determined by the evaluation of autopsy findings and postmortem examination of
tissues. The cause of death was found to be perforation of jejunum and peritonitis developed on the basis of necrotizing enteritis
due to ascariasis. In this study, we present further details of the case.
