ABSTRACT
H2S (hydrogen sulfide, sulfur hydride) is a gaseous may be occur
during industrial procedure as occur naturally H2S intoxications may be seen acutely or chronically. The seeming
of intoxication signs, seriousness of symptoms and prognosis are due to density of gaseous in air and process of contact with
gaseous. In high concentrations, death occurs caused by sudden unconsciousness and deficiency of respiration.
Submitted two male cases had contacted with H2S in silo containing
in cellulose dough in a paper factory. One of two cases had died scene. Other case had been hospitalized with signs of intoxication
and he had healed used by treatment. In the medico-legal examination of corpse which dead, cellulose dough on the face and
eyelashes, cyanosis under necks and eriythema in the conjunctivas had found by local medical experts. The cause of death had
been defined poisonous gaseous intoxication and autopsy had been not performed. In the medico-legal report of survival person
was reported that he had been hospitalized with signs as like vomiting, nausea, difficulty of respiration and he had been
treated with diagnosis as poisonous gaseous intoxication and aspiration pneumonia. In the toxicological analysis of samples
which collected from scene and send to Council of Forensic Medicine.
In 5th Special Board of Council of Forensic Medicine, was come to a decision
that victims had been exposures to H2S intoxications after all medico-legal documents were examined. Those cases
were strange because of specialty of poisoning and scene. Thus we have been submitted two cases your opinion after we gone
over literature about toxicity of H2S
